Overview
An opportunity for practitioners, settings and industry to come together to discuss how far the Digital Competence Framework goes in equipping our learners for a future in the digital world.
Following the Cabinet Secretary for Education’s oral statement in July 2024, where she committed to review the DCF and place it on a statutory footing, this conversation offers opportunities to reflect with other practitioners and industry on the opportunities and challenges of delivering a cross-curricular education based on digital competence, and to explore what digital skills of the future will look like.
Through this conversation we hope to understand the challenges faced from a practitioner and industry perspective, and to explore solutions that will support practitioners to more confidently develop and embed digital skills in their curriculum.
